Christian and Missionary Alliance missionaries are given outfit assistance by their home districts in the form of a money gift designed to help provide them with household and personal items for each term of service.  

Although Alliance Women Ministries facilitates the contributions to each family unit, the monetary responsibilities belong to the entire congregation from every church within our District. It is both a privilege and responsibility to help our District missionaries - no one will cover this if we fail!

The amount requested from each church is $1.50 per person based on average church attendance from the previous year, as provided by your church in its annual report to the National Office.  

The WGL churches each contribute to this fund annually. Missionaries on a four year home assignment rotation receive the following amounts (missionaries on a two year rotation receive half the amount listed every two years):
          Single Missionary:  $1500
          Families:  Adult:  $1000 -  Child:  $700

Although we encourage contributions to be sent to the District AWM Treasurer as soon as possible into the fiscal year (beginning July 1), funds may be sent year round.
