Vision
Statement
OUR MISSION is to glorify God by assisting the churches in winning the
lost to Christ, building them up in
Christ, and sending them out for Christ.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
To
Proclaim the centrality of Christ as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer
and Coming King
To Prioritize the ministry of prayer
To
Promote disciplemaking, both locally and world-wide
To
emPower effective leaders
To
Provide regional
relationships
WHAT
DOES THIS LOOK LIKE IN OUR LOCAL CHURCHES?
·
Proclaim
the centrality of Christ as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King
We envision
- soulwinning that results in sound conversions and lives
transformed by the power
of the Gospel
-
people experiencing the power of God that delivers from the bondage
of sin
-
people being healed from physical diseases
- people clearly seeing the connection between the Second
Coming of Christ and
Missions
- membership classes emphasizing the Four-Fold Gospel and
Alliance Polity
·
Prioritize
prayer
We envision
-
every Official Worker having “Partners in Prayer”
-
every Church having a consistent, vibrant prayer ministry
-
every Church having special times of prayer when special needs
arise
-
visitors knowing after one month that prayer is the priority in
this Church
·
Promote
Evangelism, locally and world-wide
We envision
- rejoicing over each sinner who repents
-
celebrating every time someone leads a person to Christ for the
first time
-
a 10% assimilated conversion rate
-
evangelism training provided on a regular basis
-
having commissioning services (e.g., sending students who are
preparing for ministry;
short term missions trips; sending out pastor/missionary; sending
core group to begin a
new church, etc.)
-
the number of pledges and the percentage of the giving that goes to
Great Commission
Fund is continually growing (20% is a minimum goal for the
percentage of giving)
·
emPower
lay leaders
We
envision
- recognizing, affirming and encouraging effective leadership
-
developing “apprentice” leadership positions in all areas of
ministry
-
equipping workers -- some of them will rise to the surface as
leaders
·
Provide Regional
Relationships
We envision
- each licensed Official Worker seeing his/her part in the
larger ministry to other
churches according to giftedness, personality and passion
-
each Church giving/receiving interdependent ministry to/from
churches in the
Region
